Unit One
Define the Project
Unit Description
This unit involves a range of activities which support the planning and development of a biodynamic production enterprise. It requires assessing the production capacity of the site, determining the impact of production enterprises on the site eco-system; identifying legal and licensing requirements and assessing the likelihood of risks to your proposed production enterprise.
Upon completion of this unit the student will be able to identify the physical factors required by the production enterprise, review current site conditions and determine the environmental impact of the proposed production enterprise.
Unit Two
Determine Requirements for the Project
Unit Description
This unit involves developing production plans for your enterprise. It requires determining the requirements for the management of the production enterprise, defining stages of production, identifying required resources, determining financial requirements, defining marketing strategies, assessing the feasibility of your production proposal and establishing support for your production enterprise. It requires you to determine the most suitable certification organisation for your individual requirements and apply for certification if required.
Upon completion of this unit the student will be able to develop a production plan, establish required resources, determine the most suitable timing for each activity and establish support for the production proposal.
